Overview

SMS Forwarder is designed with privacy in mind. The app operates entirely on your device and does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any external servers. Incoming SMS messages are processed solely on your device, and forwarding is performed by your device’s SMS system to the number you specify. SMS Forwarder does not collect, store, or transmit any personal or sensitive user data as defined by Google Play’s User Data policy.

Data We Access

The app requires SMS permissions to function. These permissions are required for the app’s core functionality: detecting incoming messages and forwarding them to the number you specify. Without these permissions, the app cannot function.

Here's what we access and why:

• • Receive SMS: To detect incoming messages and forward them based on your settings.
• • Send SMS: To forward messages to your specified phone number.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• • We do not store your SMS messages.
• • We do not transmit your SMS messages or other personal data to external servers or third-party services.
• • We do not collect analytics or usage data.
• • We do not share or sell any data to third parties.

Local Storage

Your settings (forwarding number, keywords, preferences) are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device, and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Your Control

You are in complete control of your data. You can disable forwarding at any time within the app, revoke SMS permissions through Android settings, or uninstall the app to remove all stored preferences.

Children’s Privacy

SMS Forwarder is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Because the app does not collect or store user data, no child-specific data is ever stored or transmitted.
